Dr. Nathan M. Moroski is an orthopaedic surgeon who earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Davis, where he also was a member of the cross country and track & field teams. He then earned his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Moroski went on to complete his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his fellowship training in surgical sports medicine in Birmingham, Alabama at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute. Working under world-renowned surgeon, Dr. James Andrews, as well as Dr. Lyle Cain and Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, he served as assistant team physician to the University of Alabama football team. While in Birmingham, Dr. Moroski trained in innovative surgical techniques and treated a diverse range of recreational, collegiate, and professional athletes. He was actively involved in the care of the University of Alabama Athletics, University of West Alabama Athletics, Alabama Ballet, WWE, the minor league affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, and local high schools. Throughout his training, Dr. Moroski has stayed engaged in the orthopaedic surgery community, co-authoring book chapters, authoring journal articles, and both presenting research and serving as faculty at national meetings. Dr. Moroski is a sports enthusiast. He enjoys running, hiking, golf and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Annie, a pediatrician, have two daughters, Bailey and Maci.
